Yex to join TSSR for 2026-27 Sports Season

Ann Cordell Thompson and Keith Yex will continue their well known coverage of Hancock County sports this fall on TSSR Game Time Live, as they will broadcast select Illini West and West Hancock football games. — Ann Thompson and Keith Yex will be moving their SportsYex show to TSSR Game Time Live this fall. The pair will be broadcasting select Illini West and West Hancock football games.

MARIETTA, IL – TSSR Game Time Live is honored to announce that Illinois Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Famer Keith Yex is coming on board to help cover Illini West and West Hancock sports in 2027.

“Since we started TSSR Game Time Live, we have worked to provide the most comprehensive audio/video coverage of high school sports in West Central Illinois. Adding an experienced, hall of fame caliber play-by-play voice, like Keith Yex, to our crew only helps move us in that direction,” TSSR management, said. “While our product may be free on YouTube for viewers to watch and listen, we want to quality to be worthy of paid programming, and adding Keith to the mix helps to solidify that hope.”

Along with Keith, the other half of SportsYex, Ann Thompson, will join him, as well. Ann helps with stats and tidbits, while adding an experienced voice in high school sports.

In the fall, Yex will focus on football broadcasts at TSSR Game Time Live, with an emphasis on Hanock County football. His preliminary schedule includes:

August 21 – Princeville @ Illini West
August 28 – South Fulton @ West Hancock
September 4 – ROWVA @ Illini West
September 11 – Bureau Valley @ West Hancock
September 18 – West Hancock @ Illini West (Homecoming)
September 25 – Scotland County @ West Hancock (Homecoming)
October 2 – Farmington @ Illini West
October 9 – Elmwood @ West Hancock
October 16 – West Hancock @ Farmington
October 17 – Illini West @ Gibson City

Besides his focus on football, Yex will likely make appearances on volleyball coverage during the fall season, as well.

To go along with having Yex on board with TSSR Game Time Live in 2026-27, there will also be more home game coverage of Illini West Volleyball during the fall season.
